My Pet Lion
There was a dragon dance in my neighborhood yesterday. There were about 4 lions in different colors (so cute!), and a dragon! * u *
I want my own Chinese lion to scare away bad things. Plus they just look so darn cuddly! ♥
Happy Chinese New Year!

Pinky Swear

Pinky Swear, a local children’s clothing store, approached me and asked me to draw a character for their brand. My friend Arlene Sy designed their logo!

Kitchen Staples
I can finally share the illustrations I did for this October issue of Yummy Magazine! The article is about kitchen staples, and it was my first time drawing so much food. I really enjoyed this project.
Don’t ask me why beer is in the list, I shall have to buy a copy one of these days to find out. ![]()
The file is rather huge, but click to see more details!

Drawing food makes me hungry
Yummy magazine asked me to do 20 illustrations of food for their Kitchen Staples article. Here are some that I doodled on for fun!
I’ll try to post all the illustrations I did when the article comes out. ![]()

Mesmerizing colors
I’ve been seeing these amazing watercolor fashion illustrations around the internet (and even on posters while walking the streets once upon a time in Europe), all the while not knowing the name of the artist behind them. I just know it’s from the same person because of their distinct style and use of colors. It has always been a delight to run into this person’s work wherever I go, and now I’ve found her at last! She is Cate Parr, and I have no idea if I am the last person to know about her, but in any case when I saw her work it was love at first sight! I love how she seems to take all that is essential in a painting and leaves out the clutter, with the end result being something so simple yet perfect.
